Disappointing OBD2 Scanner Experience - careland

I recently decided it was time to invest in a dedicated tool for troubleshooting my vehicle's 'Check Engine' light, so I picked up the OBD2 Reader Diagnostic Tool, OBDII EOBD Car Code Scanner Check Engine Light Fault Code ,OBD Code CAN Protocols Diagnostic Tool. I was hoping for something straightforward that could quickly pull fault codes and give me a better idea of what was going on under the hood without having to run to the mechanic immediately.

Ultimately, while the concept of an OBD Code CAN Protocols Diagnostic Tool is necessary, this specific unit proved useless for my needs due to the uncertainty surrounding its operational range. I cannot recommend this purchase unless you can confirm beforehand that it supports your exact car setup.
